Classic

Straight square

Probably the most standard, straight is what it sounds like. Tiles are placed in a uniform manner in rows and columns throughout a room for a uniform look.

Offset

Keeping the same idea of a straight design, an offset design involves moving each alternating row so the tiles resemble offset bricks. You could use different colors or shapes for a unique design.

Diagonal

Diagonal tile design just means flipping the square tiles to make a diamond shape and piecing them together into a diagonal design for a pointed and precise look.

Eclectic

Checkerboard

Checkerboard tile design is made using the diagonal design but with alternating colors. Go with neutrals or complimentary colors for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind look.

Basketweave

This is the design that will make you do a double take. Basketweave tile design gives the illusion that rows of tiles are going over and under other rows, just like a basket. You can choose a few different shades of a color or many colors to complete this look.

Diagonal with dots

For a little extra personality, add insets to your diagonal design. This can be as simple as changing the color for the dots or as extravagant as choosing a hand painted variety. Just go with whatever combination you like!
